What is our history
When I graduated in accounting decades ago, people said there would be a shortage of accountants. It seemed more students were majoring in computer science. Then there was talk of a flat tax and now they say AI will replace us soon enough. The only good thing about a shortage of accountants is you have more flexibility with your fees and you can turn away problem clients. It doesn't help the tax law keeps changing and is so complex, not to mention peer review. Ugh!
